About the artists
Darrin Bradbury
Darrin Bradbury has been traveling and writing about the American cultural landscape for the last 20 years. A former ANTI recording artist he released two critically acclaimed records “Talking Dogs & Atom Bombs” and “Artvertisment”which earned him a loyal cult following amongst critics, audiences and peers a like. Known for his clever observations and one of a kind perspective-often a mixture of humor and sadness-Darrin tours the country 100 some odd days of the year in a school bus with his dog Albert to raise money for his non profit “the beat” which tackles the complex issues of the housing and opioid epidemic in Nashville or fundraising for local charities in the cities and small towns he performs in, carving out a humble living along the way. When he is not on the road he lives on a small house boat on old hickory lake, where he writes and often can be found in deep conversation with a blue heron that hangs out at his boat slip.
Dylan Walshe
Dylan Walshe, originally from Dublin, Ireland, embarked on a journey that took his solo acoustic performance from the bustling streets of London across Europe, eventually leading him to settle in Nashville, Tennessee. He now calls the serene southern highlands of Black Mountain in western North Carolina his home. Dylan has carved a niche for himself in the music world, headlining tours across the United States, Europe, and the UK. He has shared the stage with numerous musical pioneers and has opened for a diverse range of artists including Flogging Molly, The White Buffalo, and Avatar. As a singer-songwriter, Dylan is renowned for his unique interpretation of traditional working-class songs and a broad spectrum of other music, all rendered in his distinctively authentic style. Primarily a singer-songwriter, Dylan also sings traditional songs of the working classes & reinterprets a wide spectrum of songs in his own authentic inimitable style. Dylan has received plaudits from such greats as Christy Moore, who nominated Dylan's work for the Irish Folk Music Awards saying, "Dylan's a wordsmith & a fair chanter, it does my heart good to hear him sing, I love his voice & the way he's using it, he is a true Irish ballad singer & I admire his work". While Dylan mostly identifies as a Folk & Roots Singer-Songwriter, his solo acoustic performances have also been brought to Punk, Ska, Celtic & Heavy Metal audiences throughout his 25+ years of being a performer.”
Kevin Smith (of Planefolk)

Kevin is known around the region and amongst other musicians as a songwriter's songwriter. He turns real life experience into songs and stories about love loss and leaving.
