Transforming Today’s Students Into Tomorrow’s Leaders
A thriving workforce is essential for our community’s livelihood with one out of every seven jobs supporting the visitor economy. That’s why the Explore Asheville Workforce Development Program was created — to enrich the lives of students through educational opportunities and foster growth and advancement in the tourism, travel, and hospitality industry, or related fields.
Hospitality Scholarship
Students can receive up to $2,500 annually for four years at any North Carolina post-secondary institution. The scholarship covers tuition, housing, books, and other educational expenses.
Tourism & Hospitality Internship
Explore Asheville is launching an internship in summer of 2025 to provide students with an introduction to the tourism industry through hands-on experience and exposure to our partner offerings.
