Pinnacle/Taking Over
The Mural(s):
Note: This collection of murals is best accessed/viewed from South Lexington Avenue
At adjacent properties, 175 and 161 Biltmore Avenue, you will find a collection of work by artist Zander Stefani. At 175 Biltmore is “Taking Over," found on the north facing building facade, and “Pinnacle," found on the south facing building facade. The bright, bold, colorful trees found in these murals are emblematic of the artist’s kaleidoscopic aesthetic. For Zander, trees are enigmatic, stoic and powerful. They represent our connection to the energy of the universe, remaining steadfast amidst the turbulence of existence.
Artist: Zander Stefani
Zander Stefani’s art is like taking a trip through a 1960s psychedelic daydream. Graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2017, Zander views his work as a magical journey of the subconscious, always reflecting the truth of his inner psyche. With a great sense of adventure, fantasy and surrealism he hopes to shift people’s reality, transporting them from the mundane into the wild possibilities of the imagination. Zander has contributed several works of art to the South Slope landscape.
