The Sherrill Center, located on the campus of UNC-Asheville, is a 133,500 sq. ft. facility with the state-of-the-art Kimmel Arena that seats up to 4,000 for symposiums and 3,400 for basketball games. Also on campus is the Justice Center, an additional 1,100 seat arena, and Greenwood Baseball Field, a 1,000-seat lighted field.

ESPN.com has named it one of "10 quintessential road tours that capture the best of the majors and minors." The stadium has a capacity of 4,000.

Asheville Municipal Golf Course

The Asheville Municipal Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in Western North Carolina. The 18-hole golf course designed by Hall of Fame golf architect Donald Ross opened for play in 1927. The par 36 front nine, measuring 3,246 yards from the back tees, features a flat, wide-open course allowing the use of a driver on every hole. Meanwhile, the 3,194-yard back nine has narrow fairways that also play to a par 36. The back nine favors accuracy over distance. (All tees are a par 72).

Reems Creek Golf Club is in Weaverville, 10 minutes north of Asheville, and offers a secluded setting that captures the splendor and beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Reems Creek has been regularly rated at 4 stars on Golf Digest’s prestigious “Places to Play” list. Most of the holes on this par-72 mountain course have elevation changes that test your ability to pick the right club to fit the terrain. You’ll also find that most of the par-4s are target holes that require accuracy and strategy. Reems Creek offers the unique opportunity to play on all Bentgrass turf.

Black Mountain Golf Club is located at the foot of the beautiful Black Mountain Range. This 6,215-yard par 71 18-hole facility is the home to the 747-yard, par 6 17th hole, which at one time was the longest hole in the world.
