Namaste in Nature has offered a wide range of special experiences on Mother's Day including vortex yoga hikes, yoga in the park and yoga waterfall hikes. The Asheville Yoga Center offers regular Sunday classes each week.

Moms can check out a Forest Bathing Tour with Asheville Wellness Tours. In forest bathing, there's no water involved. Instead, you are invited to experience nature with all of your senses on a relaxing forest walk. 

Bring Mom to Mother Nature

On Mother's Day, check out WNC's Yarn Crawl, a family-friendly exploration of various yarn shops in Asheville that shows off 11 different yarn shops in the Asheville area. Each shop has its own special personality, and you're sure to spot a Mother's Day treasure at some places like Friends and Fiberworks or Earth Guild. The Yarn Crawl kicks off May 6 and continues through May 11.
