Press Trips

Planning a research trip? The Explore Asheville PR Team works to assist journalists by connecting working press to points of interest, attractions, local contacts and accommodations that will be covered in articles, posts, books or broadcasts.

To initiate a trip request, please fill out one of the forms below. We request a minimum of two to three weeks’ notice for a press visit once we have received all your credentialing information.

Please have this information handy when filling out your form:

• Audience statistics and insight for your outlet
• The dates you will be traveling and any other relevant details (number in travel party, story angle, etc.)
• If possible, a letter of assignment from the media outlet you are representing
• Documentation of recent examples of travel or travel-related feature coverage

Please note that complimentary arrangements are provided at the discretion of the host businesses and Explore Asheville and are subject to availability. Black-out periods may be experienced throughout the year that may necessitate a press rate, especially at hotels.
