    • Holiday Childress's music has been described as "Queen, Prince, Tom Waits and Devo in a blender". Holiday moved to Asheville in 1995 with his band The Goodies. The Goodies have been an Asheville cult favorite for over 20 years. Holidays music has been featured in HBO's "Nurse Jackie" and the Sundance film Festival award winning movie "Anywhere USA". Holiday released his first solo album, Mind the Gap, on October 20, 2016. Holiday is a natural born performer. Patrick Monahan, from the band Train, once told Holiday that he was one of the the greatest performers that he had ever seen.
