Easter Experience at Montgomery Sky Farm
April 13, 2025
Come celebrate Easter at Montgomery Sky Farm in Leicester and enjoy cuddling with the farm's newest baby animals, a visit from the Easter bunny and an exciting egg hunt! Two time slots are available for the egg hunt: 12-2p.m. and 2-4 p.m. Pricing is $45/child (kids 2 and under are free) and $10/adult. Biltmore Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt
April 19-20, 2025
Discover giant Easter eggs in the gardens inside Biltmore House and in Antler Hill Village. Biltmore's Easter egg scavenger hunt is a beloved annual springtime tradition. Learn fun facts about the estate while you search for 25 super-sized decorated eggs. The Easter Scavenger Hunt is included with daytime admission.
69th Easter Sunrise Service at Chimney Rock State Park
Sunday, April 20
The 69th Annual Easter Sunrise Service will be hosted this year at Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC). The stadium provides beautiful east-facing views of the sunrise out towards the Blue Ridge Foothills and Piedmont. Although Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park remains temporarily closed following Hurricane Helene, this cherished Western North Carolina tradition continues nearly seventy years later!
The sunrise service will begin at 6:40 AM, led by Village Foothills Chapel and accompanied by the Chimney Rock Bagpipe Band.
Do you have a creative child or teen? Are you looking for a perfect Easter activity to share with your family? Come to Majik Studios in the River Arts District at 348 Depot Street to experiment with floating paint, drawing designs and get the chance to marble your own Easter egg. Classes are available on Tuesday, April 4, Friday, April 7, Saturday, April 8, Tuesday, April 11 and Thursday April 13 with the children's class (5-12 years old) at 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with the teen class (13-17 years old) at 3 p.m.to 4:30 p.m. Prices range from $30 per child, $40 per teen and $50 per adult. One parent must participate.
