Easter Experience at Montgomery Sky Farm

April 1, 2023

Come celebrate Easter at Montgomery Sky Farm in Leicester and enjoy cuddling with the farm's newest baby animals, a visit from the Easter bunny and an exciting egg hunt! Two time slots are available for the egg hunt: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. or 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Pricing is $45/child (kids 2 and under are free) and $10/adult. Biltmore Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt 

April 8 - 9, 2023

Discover giant Easter eggs in the gardens inside Biltmore House and in Antler Hill Village. Biltmore's Easter egg scavenger hunt is a beloved annual springtime tradition. Learn fun facts about the estate while you search for 25 super-sized decorated eggs. When your child has completed their hunt, visit Antler Hill Village for a treat bag that includes a special commemorative Easter egg. Treat bags will be handed out from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Treat bags are for kids ages nine and younger. The Easter Scavenger Hunt is included with daytime admission.

67th Easter Sunrise Service at Chimney Rock State Park

Chimney Rock’s nondenominational annual Easter Sunrise Service has become a legendary event in Western North Carolina. This year, the event will continue in-person service; however, space is limited, and attendees must register ahead of time. Participants can also tune in virtually live via the Chimney Rock Facebook page or watch it later via the Chimney Rock YouTube channel. Park gates will be open from 5:30 to 6:15 a.m. and the service will begin promptly at 6:45 a.m. Sunrise is expected to occur at 7:06 a.m.

Easter Egg Marbling with Majik Studios

Do you have a creative child or teen? Are you looking for a perfect Easter activity to share with your family? Come to Majik Studios in the River Arts District at 348 Depot Street to experiment with floating paint, drawing designs and get the chance to marble your own Easter egg. Classes are available on Tuesday, April 4, Friday, April 7, Saturday, April 8, Tuesday, April 11 and Thursday April 13 with the children's class (5-12 years old) at 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with the teen class (13-17 years old) at 3 p.m.to 4:30 p.m. Prices range from $30 per child, $40 per teen and $50 per adult. One parent must participate.
